Montbretia Tea Towel

In shades and tones of orange, pink and green, the Montbretia tea towel features a hand-drawn motif of the Montbretia flower and leaves, layered over outlines of its leaves, on a slate-grey background. 

Montbretia is another one of those non-native plants that line the roads of West Cork and other parts of Ireland during the late summer.  It spreads easily through corms so it can become invasive and can out-compete native plants. I don’t advise planting this unless you’re prepared to prevent it from spreading into the countryside.  Instead, err on the side of caution and enjoy its gorgeous vibrant flowers all year round on my newest tea towel design!  

This floral tea towel is printed using eco-friendly pigment inks onto 100% fair trade cotton panama fabric.  It is designed, printed and hand made in Ireland.

It may be washed with a non-bio, mild detergent.
