Eco-friendly pigment inks, which are kind to the skin and the environment, are used to print my designs here in Ireland, onto Fair Trade or organic fabric. No water is used in any of the fabric printing processes.
Each art print is printed using eco-friendly plant-based inks onto high quality 100% recycled and carbon neutral 300 gsm paper. The paper is 100% recyclable, biodegradable and FSC certified, ECF and acid-free. They are printed in Ireland by a company that produces their own energy on-site with PV solar panels, reducing their CO2 emissions by approximately 5 tonnes per year. The prints are packaged in an environmentally friendly, compostable, clear protective sleeve and are shipped in a hard-back paper envelope.
Ecommerce deliveries have a carbon footprint. That's why I support cutting-edge companies that remove carbon from the air. See the Climate Commitment page for more details.
My electricity is from a green energy provider.
I do not wrap my designs in plastic and believe in minimum packaging, and I reuse packaging wherever possible. Online orders are wrapped in 100% recycled, unbleached tissue paper that is Blue Angel certified, tied up with string and posted in a 100% recycled paper fibre lined Jiffy Bag padded envelope.
On my stall, I can provide biodegradable, compostable and recyclable brown paper bags if customers need a bag for their purchases.
Every year, I plant more and more trees and shrubs in our wildlife garden. My dream for my business would be to earn enough to buy some land and allow it to rewild, to provide a habitat for as many species as possible. If you purchase from me, thank you for supporting that dream.
